Worn to be Wild

To celebrate the launch of their new exhibit Worn to Be Wild, Seattle's EMP Museum is hosting a special runway show on October 20th featuring Northwest designers including Carole McClellan, Ms. Wood, Stone Crow Design, Pierre Davis, Ruki: By Melanie Parr and Aykut Ozen. Each designer was tasked with pulling inspiration from one iconic item: the black leather jacket.




Tickets range from $35 for general admission to $175 for a VIP experience featuring reserved seating, a hosted bar, swag bags and more. All tickets include access to the exclusive grand opening of EMP's Worn to Be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket exhibit. Dozens of garments and related artifacts such as iconic Harley-Davidson motorcycles will be on display as part of the Worn to Be Wild exhibit. Guests will get to view everything from early military jackets to haute couture by Jean Paul Gaultier and Gianni Versace. You won't want to miss this stylish event!

Pacific Place and Seattle Met magazine are partnering to present “Downtown Seattle Rocks the Runway” featuring an exclusive fashion show that will give 250 seated ticket holders a close-up view of fall apparel and accessories from Nordstrom, Macy's, Mario's, Barneys New York, Alhambra, Baby & Co, The Finerie, Karan Dannenberg Clothier and more. The festivities will begin at 5:30pm with red carpet photos and a cocktail reception for ticket holders. Seattle Met’s Style Editor, Laura Cassidy, will be on hand to entertain and emcee the runway show. Admission is $75 for general admission and $125 for VIP packages. Net proceeds from ticket sales will fund college scholarships for young women through the O Wines Opportunity for Success Scholarship Program.
